For more than 30 |
| years, Carnival has
persisted in its operating concept of "Trustworthy,

running its textile and apparel business in Taiwan and
abraod. Carnival has |

taken part in public |
| welfare activities,
such as "contribute clothes to the poor with love";
"Carnival sends love on |
| behalf of good fathers"; |

suffering burns" and has taken part over a long
period of time in various |
| activities sponsored
by the Sunlight Foundation, come up with various scholarships,

| donations to the relief
fund for the September 21, 1999 earthquake victims.

| From the days when
people lived in poverty to the present time of prosperity,
Carnival has |
| gone through hardships
and tests. With the concerted actions of colleagues
and support of |
| shareholders, Carnival
has controlled production with quality, made a breakthough

secured a large number of export orders, earned large

| exchange and contributed
to Taiwan's economic miracle and at the same time built
